“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light”. ( Ephesians 5:8)
Good afternoon, beloved brothers and sisters in Christ! What a blessing it is to gather here today in the presence of our Lord, united by His love and grace. To all our guests and fellow Christians, we warmly welcome you to this special congregation. It is our joy to have you here as part of this spiritual family.
Today, we are reminded of a powerful truth from Ephesians 5:8, which says, ‘For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.’ This verse invites us to reflect on the incredible transformation that happens when we accept Christ into our lives.
No matter where you come from or what burdens you carry, know this: Jesus has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. He wants to fill your heart with hope, joy, and peace. So let us open our hearts, lift our voices in praise, and allow the Word of God to guide us into living as true children of light.
May this time together inspire, renew, and bless each one of us as we journey closer to God. Welcome, and may His Spirit move powerfully among us today! It is very amazing and special to have, Rev. Past BINYONYO MUTWARE Jeremie, La Source choir from Rubavu in this congregation of evangelical campaign and with other choirs from Cep Ur Huye.
The service proceeds with welcoming Elayo choir as they are praising God saying that:” NTAHANDI TUZIBERA” which describes how far Jesus has salivated everybody by lifting up those seemed to be an under ground and bring them near the God the savior.

Vumilia choir also is announcing how far everyone needs Jesus in song” NDAGUKENEYE” saying that God will always on the throne all the times, And in fact no other god will ever be like God the king and savior. Jesus who were there at Getsman, i will never forget the cross of shames where the thief were saved and you were killed oh God! And if it comes to remember Jesus who has prepared the kingdom of heaven for me so as i be saved without caring on your highness just i can be given the eternal life. Oh my God, you’re holy and forever on the throne.
As we gather together, we are reminded of the beautiful words in Matthew 11:28, where Jesus invites us, ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.’ No matter where you come from, what struggles you face, or how heavy your heart may be, we believe that in His presence, there is peace, comfort, and renewal.

In wonderful Special times of word of God with Rev.PST. BINYONYO where he introduced the theme from Ephesians 5:8 and 1 John 1:5_7
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.”Ephesians 5:8 (NIV):
“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.” 1 John 1:5-7 5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
This verse emphasizes the transformative power of Jesus Christ. Before knowing Christ, we were spiritually in darkness, lost in sin. But through Jesus, we are brought into His light, where truth, righteousness, and goodness abound. As children of light, we are called to live according to the values of the Kingdom of God, reflecting His love and holiness in our actions and attitudes. It’s a call to live distinctively from the world, shining with God’s truth and grace.
BINYONYO is thanksgiving to Christians of CEP saying that the hope of church is young generation.
It is a great pleasure for that Jesus came into his people but they didn’t know him but blessed are them who heard him and have him as the savior and king for their lives. For that, all believers we have many names including we became the light from darkness as we were. From evil to good, from hell to heaven. Bible emphasize that all believed in word of God and do what it says and keep fighting against the sin.
Matthew 21:18-22 or Mark 11:12-14, where Jesus curses a barren fig tree because it bore no fruit. In these passages, the fig tree symbolizes the expectation of bearing fruit—an analogy for believers who are expected to produce spiritual fruit, representing good deeds, righteousness, and faith. “The fig tree was supposed to bear fruit at all times” this tree really shows how every Christian must bear the spiritual fruit so as to change the society from home to worldwide into paradise. The phrase emphasizes the expectation that those who are truly alive in Christ should constantly bear the fruit of godliness in their lives. Those who are in light are missioned to give light to people of darkness telling them the good news of Jesus Christ who has been hanged on the cross and then after he has been resurrected from dead’s, and now he’s on the throne.
We’re not changed by many words but spiritual acts change everything. No body can remove people from darkness without having holy spirit, we need holy spirit than anything else.
As we conclude, let us carry today’s message in our hearts: that God has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Let us live as children of light, shining brightly in a world that desperately needs His love and grace. May the Spirit empower us to be faithful witnesses of Christ’s truth, now and always. Go in peace, and may God’s blessings be with you.”
Jesus really changes the names of people, and it’s blessings to be in CEP and having salvation and Degree which will help us in our daily life and even spiritually. At the end of everyone, those degrees and struggles we pass through will end but the salivation will stays the same and it will leads us to the heaven.
At this 1 day of evangelical campaign, one person has believed in Jesus Christ as his king and savior of his life. Really this what brought down Jesus to save one sheep from 99 sheep to have an eternal life.
